Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting to the ERP Manager, the IT Project Coordinator's responsibilities include:

• Assists in validating budget forecasts and provides ongoing reconciliation of resources and related project expenditures against set budgets.
• Assists with visualization and documentation of project scope, deliverables, milestones and required activities.
• Tracking the status of deliverables to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Document issue resolutions thoroughly to build an effective troubleshooting and recovery knowledge base.
• Develops project strategies to ensure team members alignment and priorities based on the vision to execute the projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Supports project stakeholders with planning, monitoring and coordination of scope, schedule, and overall project initiatives.
• Maintains communication with the project sponsor, stakeholders, project team members, and IT department and Provides regular status updates.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Hand-on during the discovery and scoping phase of projects and improvement initiatives and provide hands-on support Post go-live.
• Build and support custom database-driven reports that drive business improvement using SQL, Excel Power Query (M-Code)/PowerPivot, and Power BI.
• Assists in developing project artifacts, including the project charter, requirements, work breakdown structure, budgets, resource allocation, sprint logs, user stories, schedule, risk logs, action items, lessons learned, etc.
• Supports and facilitates project meetings, preparing agendas, presentations, and meeting minutes.

Education & Experience

• Experience using EAM Dynaway or other Asset Management systems would be an asset.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent combined relevant work experience and certifications
• Experience using SAP Concur (Invoice and Expense modules) would be an asset.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems would be an asset.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Project Management with experience managing IT projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Scrum Master certification is preferred.

Technical Competencies & Skills

• Quick learner and adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
• Self-directed ability to proactively and independently research and evaluate operational data for issues and potential improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (for example, PMI and agile).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to break complex problems into simple steps, and follow a logical troubleshooting strategy to resolution while documenting systems and processes.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical information to non-technical end-users.
• Able to think outside the box and comprise unique solutions to challenging problems.
• Demonstrated expertise in report writing using SQL, Excel Power Query/PowerPivot, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of project planning tools.
• Proficient with office applications (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
