Joining Olympic as a Project Coordinator, you will be a key member of our team committed to delivering high quality major construction projects from concept design through construction and commissioning in the commercial, institutional, and industrial construction sectors. Enabling a successful outcome for the client and building a strong and lasting relationship.


Ideal Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and projects
  • Degree in Civil/Construction EngineeringORDiploma in Architectural/Civil Engineering Technology
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications as applicable to the position (Procore, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.)
  • Experience with the AutoDesk suite of products, construction management software, and Building Information Modelling is considered an asset.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the commercial / institutional / industrial construction fields
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence leadership in a positive manner
  • Motivated self-starter who takes an analytical approach to solving problems


Responsibilities:As a Project Coordinator, you will report directly to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Project Managers to implement, monitor, and control project schedules / budgets
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Act as the liaison between owners, designers, sub-contractors, and suppliers
  • Manage shop drawing review status
  • Proactively troubleshoot project challenges, conflicts, or disputes to an assertive resolution
  • Manage QA/QC procedures ensuring construction assemblies conform to project specifications
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, authorities having jurisdiction
  • Regular progress reporting to Project Manager
  • Utilization of the AutoDesk suite of products to support construction field personnel, specifically RIVET and AutoCAD to identify potential construction interferences, prior to them occurring in the field.
  • Manage shop drawings review status
  • Procurement of major building materials for self performed work scopes
  • Work within a project team, promoting collaboration between all individuals
