Job Summary:
Toyota Canada Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity for an individual who has strong communication and presentation skills to support our Information Services team. This is a contract opportunity and will report to the Manager, Enterprise Data Analytics. The selected candidate will be responsible to lead solution and delivery activities of Business Intelligence projects and enhancements.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Lead solution design conversations and provide developers with guidance on the approach
• Function as an SME to support project resources in the effort to document solution recommendations, designs, expected benefits, use cases, risks, support models and implementations
• Participate in the creation of governing principles to guide solution decisions.
• Track and report on development progress
• Collaborate with business partners and functional resources to refine the understanding of data, reports, analyses, metadata, data quality, training, and service levels
• Work with Data Management team to identify information assets, identify gaps, and plan and execute data warehouse changes in support of Business Intelligence solutions
• Collaborate with local and regional I.S. teams to deliver enterprise solutions that are scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with evolving business needs
• Oversee development progress and escalate concerns to the Manager of Data & Analytics
• Assist in the creation and evolution of Business Intelligence platform roadmaps including recommendations on leveraging new technologies and methodologies.
• Define and facilitate test strategies of Business Intelligence solutions
• Assign/Allocate work to development resources for both support (incident troubleshooting) and projects/enhancements
• Ensure projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from established Business Intelligence guidelines
• Champion the proper use of tools, processes and standards by conducting education, solution review in an effort to maximize user adoption of BI solutions.
• Ensure appropriate solution documents are completed and resources have uploaded to the designated network locations.
• Work with Documentation resources to understand Functional Specifications and business needs

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in leading discussions to drive positive results
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• 7+ years’ experience with Data Management toolsets including BW Hana, SQL Server, etc
• 5+ years’ experience designing BI solutions
• Strong process improvement orientation
• Good understanding of ITIL
• 5+ years’ experience with user requirements analysis
• Post-secondary education within an Information Services or related discipline
• Experience with AWS Data Services
• Strong background in business analytics and analytical modelling
• 3+ years’ experience with BI SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, good judgment and effective decision-making
