The Opportunity
We are seeking an experience Business Analyst with a strong background in operational and logistics function to join our dynamic team! As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and increase profitability.
Specific Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will be responsible for the below, as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the company:
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and define project objectives.
- Provide recommendations to drive and track product onboarding, offering, and order management efficiency.
- Work with key stakeholders in development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department to support business objectives and track progress toward operation goals.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational and logistics processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Identify change or areas for process improvement, recommend areas for creating efficiencies, access impact of change, document procedure, and ensure recommendation is followed.
- Support change management efforts by providing training, documentation, and assistance to end-users during process transitions.
Forecasting
- Liaising with Operations and Logistics leaderships to ensure inventory can support sales forecasts.
- Provide forecasting reports based on trends and actual outcomes.
- Partner with Leadership and other key stakeholders to create forecasts that meet company targets within budgets to envision new ways to attract potential clients.
Analysis/Reporting
- Analyze Return on Investment (ROI), conduct comparative research on marketing strategies, and provide recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing analysis findings, recommendations, and potential impact on business operations.
- Work with Leadership to provide operational gap analysis and recommendations.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience using ERP – Inventory/Warehouse Management and distribution software preferred.
- Proven analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong understanding of operational and logistical concepts including supply chain management, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional work experience in an operational or logistical role, with exposure to analyzing complex processes and driving operational improvements.
