Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Analyst to help our client support the drafting of business cases, briefing notes, cost benefit analysis, impact assessments and other supporting documents for their Device Management Technologies projects. This position will gather and document business requirements needed to implement device related strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Convene and facilitate meetings with appropriate leaders and stakeholders to facilitate information/requirement gathering to support document creation
  • Develop and communicate plans for defining requirements, including timelines, approach, stakeholders and deliverables
  • Build trust with stakeholders, demonstrating an understanding of business concepts, issues, opportunities and language
  • Create deliverables such as process flows, BR documents and other supporting documents and related visuals
  • Other project activities as required
  • Investigation, research as required to support document creation and decision making


Requirements:


  • Ability to learn quickly, comprehend complexities and build simplifying models
  • Experience working across the organizational structure, with diverse stakeholder
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Ability to build financial models
  • Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large, complex IT environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and topics to non-subject matter experts
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and the ability to visually present complex problems.
  • Experience working with technology teams in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to present technical projects to executive audiences and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in the BC healthcare system and an understanding of the project planning process, financial analysis
  • 5+ years of experience drafting documentation supporting strategic priorities
  • Experience collaborating/working with various stakeholders: IT professionals, Business and Clinical Senior Management teams, Executives; and vendor partners
