Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance Tester/Business Analyst to help our client support the new releases and enhancements for an inventory supply management solution. This position will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and report to the Senior Business Analyst, providing services including requirements gathering, documentation development, and participating in design workshops.


Responsibilities:


  • Support management of requirements, designing workflows, and the creation of data dictionaries.
  • Utilize defect tracking software such as JIRA.
  • Communicate and liaise with clinical stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams.
  • Provide system support to users during the development, maintenance, and operation of the new supply management system by performing duties such as troubleshooting problems, testing alternative solutions, and reviewing impact of implemented resolutions over time.
  • Provide support for the system inventory supply management area through requirements gathering, participating in design workshops, and consolidating user feedback.
  • Work with the project team to review technical requirements, define test plans, test cases, plan execution, execute tests, defect filing, and test report development.
  • Support testing by ensuring documentation, writing, and workflows are functional and consistent with specifications and impacts for supply management.


Requirements:


  • Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals.
  • Ability to create, update, and review test documentation.
  • Experience maintaining and supporting Enterprise and/or Healthcare environments is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester/Business Analyst.
  • Work experience with software quality control concepts and practices.
  • Previous Health Connect, Salesforce, Panorama, FHIR testing and EMPI testing experience is an asset.
  • Experience with test case management, requirements, and defect tracking tools.
  • Experience working on implementations and knowledge of go live procedures.
  • Experience with training, stakeholder engagement, and updating training materials.
