Business Analyst - Insurance

Botsford is looking for Business Analyst that can consult for an exciting start-up insurance company. This resource is responsible for supporting business partners in defining all the needs related to the project, feeding the product backlog and helping to prioritize it during the implementation activities. The business analyst is frequently called upon to solve complex problems. These require analysis and linking capabilities across the organization. They interact with a very large number of stakeholders working in various areas of expertise. They must be able to manage the different stakeholders carefully. Mastery of interpersonal relations and the ability to encourage employee commitment are essential skills.

Responsibilities:

• Test, validate, create artifacts, and assist in deployment of solutions to production environment.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with business stakeholders, various technology teams and production support teams.
• Assist in resolving complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the system needs for financial risk management by applying your business and technological knowledge to perform analysis, reconciliations, defining user requirements, etc.
• Prepare test cases and plans and execute those test cases in the required timelines, ensuring deliverables conform to business requirements.
• Manage the collection of business requirements and preparation of functional requirements for development to build.
• Research, formulate, and perform data-driven analytics using SQL.

Qualifications:

• Functional MSD Consultant
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required
• Expertise in Futures and Options (F&O)
• 5+ years experience Finance experience within Insurance
• 10+ years Insurance domain experience
