Develops business requirements documents/user stories to support the required modifications

This is a 12 months contract located in Toronto, Ont/ Hybrid, 2 days a week (may change).

Ensure all insurance policy documentation (binders, policies, endorsements) and invoicing is requested, monitored, and processed in a timely manner;

Ensure the quarterly premium adjustments for acquisitions, refinancings and dispositions are accurate;

Research, formulate, and perform data-driven analytics using SQL.

Manage the intercompany transfers, reports and reconciliations.

At least 5 years’ of accounting experience preferably with AR and AP exposure.

Reconciliations skills with the ability to clarify discrepancies and coordinate financial reconciliations.

Aptitude for figures and strong analytical skills.

Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, with proficiency in Excel required.

Keen eye for detail with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Proficient in MS Office environments with previous experience in an insurance brokerage as processor or broker

Contract reviews including leases, vendor agreements, loan documents and lender requirements, property management agreements and other documents outlining insurance obligations.

Origami (RMIS) experience is an asset

4+ years experience in a Financial Analyst role

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting

As part of an integration program of a new acquired business, you will perform the analysis new account setup in SAP

Map and update new Journal entries

Create new GL accounts, map products, setup provincial taxes
