Job Title: Insurance Business Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON

Environment: Hybrid

Duration: Till year ends possibility for extension

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with extensive experience in Canadian Commercial P&C and Canadian Commercial Auto. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of platform technologies such as Guidewire or Duck Creek.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of new products and services that align with business objectives
• Lead conversations with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations
• Analyze and evaluate business needs for product development
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, business requirements, and user stories
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for improvement in existing processes
• Perform data analysis and create reports to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Canadian Commercial P&C and Canadian Commercial Auto
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong experience with platform technologies such as Guidewire or Duck Creek
• Experience leading conversations with business stakeholders for product development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
