Prime Services, Collateral Management & Funding Engineering (PCME)

The successful candidate will act as the sole business analyst for Cash PB platform in the Prime Services group. This involves working with business stake holders and product development group in defining business requirements, and interfacing with vendor for providing solutions to business. Candidate should be comfortable in supporting business stakeholders and working with vendor in designing solutions for Cash PB platform in an independent mode. This role will provide the candidate with extensive opportunity to interact directly with Product Development, Client Solutions and Middle Office in Toronto and NYC.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Must be able to test and analyze data as part of data testing using various tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL tools etc.
• Analyze and document business and functional requirements as per business needs.
• Work closely within the BA/Dev team and QA team as part of system testing.
• Work with production support & software vendor teams in providing day-to-day support of Cash PB Transactions processing system.
• Work closely with business stakeholders in the Prime Service business in understanding business requirements and work closely with vendor for deliverables.
• Analyze and understand the deliverables as per business needs and work on the allocated tasks based on priority.

Education And Experience

• Must have extensive experience with all cash Prime Brokerage business processes, process flows, data and systems for Equity, Fixed Income and Options products.
• Strong sense of ownership for system stability and capacity. Experience with system ownership (as development lead, etc.) a plus.
• Must have experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, gap analysis.
• Experience with JIRA a plus.
• Experience in testing and analyzing data as part of analysis/design/test activities.
• Must have advanced knowledge of using SQL on databases such as Oracle, Sybase etc.
• Ability to communicate with key business and technology stakeholders on a daily basis.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Understanding of Software design and software development lifecycle
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is a must. Microsoft Visio a plus
• Bachelor of Science degree
• BA / Dev with 10+ years of experience in financial industry (capital markets)
