How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Business Intelligence Lead will work as part of the business services team to develop and support the enterprise data management efforts. Responsibilities include leading the master data management program, developing and supporting the data warehouse and data analytics reporting capabilities, working with clients to solve business problems using enter data management (EDM), Power BI, D365 and CRM capabilities, and improving the quality of data throughout the company.

• Work with company management and end users to identify and solve problems.
• Evaluate data quality of client data using various methods and principles such as data profiling, data validation, trending, baseline, data standards, and data cleansing.
• Lead all aspects of system operation, integration, and upgrade projects including project planning, status tracking and reporting.
• Analyze and document data related issues and collaborate with other IT teams to implement improvements including root cause analysis and resolution.
• Maintain data warehouses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate and communicate data requirements with internal business stakeholders and external clients.
• Maintain Red-D-Arc’s applications and business requirements of rapidly changing technology.
• Lead the company's existing extensive Power BI efforts.
• Interact and moderate between business department and technical users.
• Analyze data from source data files and central repository to research root causes for data gaps, discrepancies, inconsistencies, and derive insights via longitudinal analysis.
• Lead the corporate EDM program; define master data ownership to drive continuous data quality improvements, implement quality measures and methods to align quality improvements with other corporate projects and priorities.
• Enhance data quality checks by identifying and defining metrics, thresholds, and benchmarks.

Education

• Work experience in the IT Business Data Analysis field can be a substitute for post-secondary education
• Post-secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, and/or IS Concentrations)

Experience

• Communications proficiency to all levels in the company from executives to end users
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies (for example Data Lake)
• Basic working knowledge of SQL / Python
• Working functional knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations plus Microsoft CRM
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing/developing ETL/Data Migration/Data Integration
• Very proficient with common office tools including Microsoft Excel and Power BI
