Job summary

Serving as both technical and business Analyst at SimpleSurvey, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, product development, and enhancing operational efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to understand business needs, develop specifications, and recommend solutions that align with our company's objectives. You will also look for best practices to optimize the platform’s UX and UI, as well as our internal QA practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic SaaS company and make a significant impact on its growth.


Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Respond to specific IT support requests from Clients that require development. Help with the prioritization of development requests.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (both internal and external) to understand business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable specifications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices to propose innovative IT solutions that contribute to the company's growth.
  • Occasionally contribute to bigger client-facing projects that involve configuring software to support customer needs (forms, business processes, rules …).
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, workflows, troubleshooting guides, and user stories.
  • Support product development and enhancement, with a heavy focus on UX and UI, by providing insights based on market research and customer feedback. Propose a tailored improvement plan with short-term and long-term targets.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Open-minded, creative, curious, eager to learn.
  • Able to show initiative in dealing with colleagues and assigned tasks.
  • 5 or more years of proven experience as an Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Adaptable and team-oriented, with a flair for multitasking.
  • Experience using advanced online survey software and form-centric applications.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal). Fluent in French OR English, ideally both.
  • Able to prioritize a varied workload, manage multiple projects, and work well with deadlines.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and relationship building skills.


What we offer

Permanent employment. Full-time work-from-home, 37.5 hours a week. Competitive salary, based on experience, with profit-sharing program. Working hours are flexible, however employees must make every attempt to be available between the hours of 9am and 5pm. A laptop will be provided by SimpleSurvey, for business use.
