We are seeking a highly qualified Business Development Representative with a strong background in selling software solutions and a deep understanding of the transportation industry. This is a 100% remote opportunity with flexible working hours, offering unlimited earning potential through commission on license fees.
Responsibilities:
- Offer product training to customers' employees, both in-person and remotely (AnyDesk)
- Effectively promote and sell SaaS solutions through cold-calling and prospecting
- Be viewed as an industry expert on products and solutions offerings
- Maintain accurate records of calls and sales, and note useful information in Hubspot CRM
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently close deals
- Provide exceptional follow-up to guide customers through the purchasing process
- Deliver compelling presentations to customers through online video meetings (GoogleMeet) or in-person visits
- Identify customer needs and offer solutions that meet their requirements
- Continuously improve performance through customer feedback
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- An established professional network within the transportation industry is an asset
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cold-calling and developing new business(within 5 years)
- Experience with remote-based product demonstrations is highly preferred
- Fluency in a second language is a distinct advantage (Spanish, French, Punjabi, Hindu, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Romanian, etc.)
- Proficient in computer skills and able to quickly learn and utilize web-based and mobile apps
- Must reside in the U.S. or Canada
- In-depth knowledge of the intermodal transportation business is a strong asset
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license and vehicle (local travel may be required)
- Proven track record of 2-3 years of success in B2B sales, with a focus on SaaS solutions(within 5 years)
- Ability to work independently and consistently achieve sales targets
