Bilingual Business Development Specialist

Adecco is currently recruiting a Business Development Representative. This is a full permanent opportunity with our construction and installation sector client. The ideal candidate must be in the Montreal region. This sales professional will cover the Quebec region. Some training might be conducted in California, Mexico, Alabama, or South Carolina

The Business Development Representative will have the following responsibilities:

• Monitoring competitor activities
• Negotiating with existing and potential customers
• Resolving customer complaints
• Maintaining records of sales leads
• Developing effective sales strategy
• Conducting market and industry research
• Identifying opportunities to improve sales performance.
• Selling company products or services
• Evaluating customer needs
• Collaborating with the marketing department
• Educating customers on products and services
• Maintaining good relationships with customers
• Presenting sales proposals to potential customers

The Business Development Representative must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must be bilingual in French and English.
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or Communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must experience in with construction material, HVAC, tools, or equipment sales.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent negotiation skills
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Outside Sales
• Must open to travel 50%+ with designated region.
• Experience with CRM software - Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with different sales techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must have means of transportation for client visits.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
