Outbound SAAS Sales Team Lead


Position Overview:


Ziff Davis Email Marketing brands (Campaigner/Smtp.com) arm businesses with digital Marketing tools. We are looking for exceptional new team members to help accelerate organic revenue growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outbound SAAS Sales Lead to join our dynamic sales team. As the Outbound SAAS Sales Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by overseeing and executing the outbound sales strategy for our Software as a Service (SAAS) offerings. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of outbound sales representatives, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive revenue generation through successful outbound sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Outbound Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive outbound sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and pain points to position our SAAS solutions as the ideal fit for their business requirements.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire outbound sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to enhance outbound sales performance.
  • Sales Presentations: Represent the company in outbound client meetings, conferences, and industry events to showcase our SAAS products and services effectively.
  • Outbound Sales Team Leadership: Build and lead a team of outbound SAAS sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to maximize their potential and performance in prospecting and cold-calling potential clients.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth within the outbound sales channel.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead generation activities, and product enhancements based on customer feedback for outbound efforts.
  • Sales Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the outbound sales team's product knowledge, sales skills, and understanding of the Email Marketing competitive landscape.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring win-win outcomes for both parties and adherence to company policies and procedures.


Requirements:


3 years+ in SAAS sales and minimum 2 years of leadership experience


  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Email marketing software industry with a specific focus on outbound sales, including trends, best practices, and competitor landscape. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations and negotiate effectively in the context of outbound sales.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a passion for building and nurturing strong client relationships in an outbound sales capacity.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth through proactive outbound sales initiatives.
  • Analytical Thinking: Data-driven approach to outbound sales strategy and decision-making, utilizing analytics to identify opportunities and address challenges specific to outbound efforts.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating an outbound sales team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive market, adjusting sales strategies and tactics as needed.
