Our client is a software company striving to create a global marketplace for services. Their world-class software helps businesses navigate and manage all things shipping. They are revolutionizing the logistics industry and are on a mission to provide a trusted and intuitive marketplace for services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in financial analysis, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and assisting with compilation engagement reports. If you are a self-starter, a critical thinker, and are able to wear different hats when needed then this will be a great fit!

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for the organization
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with compilation engagement reports, including preparing documentation and providing support during the compilation process
• Keep up-to-date with financial regulations and laws that impact their work
• Use accounting software to record financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing and bookkeeping

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Accountant/Accounting Technician or similar role
• Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer programs, including QuickBooks and NetSuite
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using several tools and apps
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Degree in accounting is an asset
• Fluent in both English and French, with excellent speak and writing abilities in both languages in an asset
