Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, reconciling bank and credit card statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, and preparing tax returns. The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for client communication and maintaining client relationships. The position's start date is November 6th, 2023. Qualifications

• Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
• Must have T1 and T2 working knowledge.
• Proficient in bookkeeping and financial accounting
• CPA designation is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Xero
• Experience in public accounting is a plus
• Attention to detail and accuracy
