Job Responsibilities

Event Management:

• Coordinate event logistics, including contract negotiations, venue preparation, and marketing materials
• Manage communication to internal and external attendees and gather feedback for future improvements
• Incorporate innovative ways to involve and interact with audiences
• Strategize, plan, and execute impactful digital and in-person events
• Lead project team and collaborate with internal employees, customers, and vendors

VIC Marketing

• Lead marketing strategy and execution for the Vehicle Innovations Center
• Support VIC team with supplier outreach and relationship management
• Create engaging scripts for virtual product launches and webinars
• Design and implement email marketing strategy for VIC quarterly e-newsletter
• Develop and communicate marketing plans and campaigns

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the hospitality industry and bus manufacturing/transit industry is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning and execution
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Additional Information

• Up to 10% travel required for this position.
