The Mission


We are seeking a talented Inside Sales leader to join our growing sales team. The right candidate is someone who is passionate about coaching, mentoring and leading inside sales representatives in their day to day as well as on their career journey. Your mission will be to train, develop and manage our team of inside sales representatives and work as a partnership with AWS Demand Gen and Cloud Sales Center. You will be responsible for working closely with the VP of Sales and the other field sales leaders around campaign management and outbound sales activity. As the inside sales leader you will be responsible for co-creating a career roadmap for the inside sales representatives and holding them accountable for daily activity. You will also engage with AWS inside leadership as we work to grow our partnership with their respective teams


Responsibilities


  • Design, build, and test new outreach and nurture campaigns
  • Attend cloud workshops and training to boost specific skills and possible certifications around cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps
  • Communicate via cold calls/emails/social media/in-person meetings with SME prospects
  • Drive revenue by winning new services business and/or expand existing engagements
  • Coordinate closely with content, marketing, and lead generation providers
  • Engage with AWS, and other partners at the tactical and strategic level


Requirements


  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience selling managed cloud services and/or DevOps consulting
  • Craft proposals, SOWs, negotiate contracts, deliverables and price
  • Technical Background in DevOps or Cloud is preferred
  • Bachelorʼs Degree is preferred
  • Possess natural curiosity and excitement to learn new technology, sell and success as an individual and as a team
  • Great verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 10-25% of the time
  • Enthusiasm to work in a startup environment and ability to be cross-functional
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing $250K+ ARR deals successfully
  • Experience selling AWS, and related services is highly desired

The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this position is CAD 206,000 - CAD 273,000. If you are hired at Caylent, your On Target Earnings (OTE) is determined on factors such as skills, experience, geographic location, and other market conditions. While it's not typical for offers to be made at the top of the range, please keep in mind that the On Target Earnings (OTE) is only one component of your overall compensation. Additionally, you are eligible for the benefits, bonuses, and incentives as listed above in the job description!
