Compensation:
For this particular position, the successful candidate will receive a $30k base salary, plus a competitive bonus structure that provides unlimited potential, including opportunities for residuals. And as we grow, we'll review other benefits and compensation opportunities as well. Also, keep in mind this is just to start. I'd like to see this candidate grow with the company, and get paid a heck of a lot more as we grow this thing together. This is how startups work. We give now to take later.

The Sales & Marketing Specialist is a critical position at Pathfinder 365, and when I say ground floor, I really mean it.This Startup is early stage, pre-revenue, but has a rockin’ beta version of the platform in market.We’re looking for someone that’s keen to be a part of the scrappy foundational days of a Startup’s journey…building, creating, hustling, inspiring, and making big things happen every day.We’re also looking for a marketer that has the ability to sneak their toes into the sales world from time to time, as needed, and understands how they flow into one another.Sales and Marketing are different worlds of the same universe, and their gravitational pulls need to be in alignment so that the entire ecosystem….yup, I overplayed the analogy.Anyway, Sales and Marketing need to work hand in hand, strategically, and sometimes marketing campaigns have a sales element, and sometimes sales has a marketing element, so we’re looking for someone that can effectively bridge these two super important business lines, with a lot of autonomy.
The overall focus of this position will be creating an inbound sales funnel by developing a strong digital marketing presence.More specifically, this person will enhance the social media strategy I already have in place, and substantially increase each channel’s traction, while also adding in new projects, and the value of micro content influencers.This person will also be a strong writer, and will collaborate with me on our content development.Together, this will be the foundation of our overall marketing strategy, which will guide and fuel our sales process.
I’m looking for someone with a strong work ethic, can effectively work autonomously, but has exceptional communication skills that enables them to collaborate really well with a founder.They understand the need for check-ins, and why it’s important to ask questions.They’re confident to voice their opinions, make suggestion, offer solutions, and have in-depth discussions.If the right candidate is found, this person could also potentially migrate into a leadership role further down the road.
This project’s objectives are to establish an effective, agile, and scalable marketing strategy, that successfully creates an inbound sales funnel.This will be done by building out Pathfinder’s marketing, content and sales strategy and deploying and testing it in-market.Specific tasks under review are:
- Build and deploy a multi-province webinar strategy
- Contributes to on-platform communication and email-automation strategy
- Creates a dynamic content management strategy, including persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience, and is unique to the typical interactions of each engagement medium
- Manages e-newsletter strategy, creation and deployment
- Maintains a current and evolving understanding of the targeted audiences for each social channel
- Creates and publishes content on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, any others that are identified for incorporation along the way
- Manages most aspects of creative design
- Oversees site metrics, analyzes and compiles analytics reports, and create proposals for enhancements/new directions
- Strong focus on audience growth, building brand awareness, and ultimately boosting signup conversions and sales
- Maintains a strong focus on building the site’s SEO, with a keen eye for strategic copywriting and keyword deployment
- Contributes to CRM management, and maintain email list hygiene
