Job Description

Division: Industrial - Pump

Languages: French and English

Location- Laval, QC


About the Role:


Join our dynamic team in Laval, Quebec, as the Pump Inside Sales Team Supervisor, reporting to the Director of Customer Experience. As a key leader, you will nurture team members' growth, ensure exceptional customer service, manage workloads efficiently, and build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Your role will also involve active participation in day-to-day sales and customer service activities.


Responsibilities:


Leadership/Supervisory Activity (50%):


  • Make critical decisions, drive sales strategies, and support sales initiatives
  • Coach and lead employees, track and measure company goals, provide guidance, and coordinate training
  • Conduct performance appraisals, administer disciplinary measures, and hold regular one-on-one meetings
  • Manage inquiries, inter-departmental issues, and review team KPIs
  • Assist in hiring and training new team members


Sales & Customer Service Activity (50%):


  • Manage CRM, proposal submissions, and order allocation
  • Support team members, address logistical questions, and provide guidance
  • Prioritize building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Prepare quotes, coordinate with suppliers, and assist team members with technical specifications
  • Contribute to the overall business plan and provide exceptional customer service


Qualifications:


Required:


  • Alignment with John Brooks's core values
  • College Diploma in a relevant field
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • 3-6 years of experience in a related role
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and creative problem solver
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, optimistic, and technically inclined
  • Strong leadership and management abilities


Preferred :


  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM software systems
  • Technical proficiency in industrial products and applications
  • Experience in employee training and development programs
