We develop software to address challenging requirements faced by medium to large retail enterprises such as merchandise management, master data, inventory management, sales audit, purchasing and invoicing, retail analytics, and point of sale.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our SaaS team. This team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Cloud infrastructure as well as providing professional services for our retail solutions.

The SaaS Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of programs and projects to meet the needs of our customers. The SaaS Project Manager is also responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with our customers.

The deployment, delivery, and support of our solutions are accomplished by coordinating activities among members from our SaaS, Support, and Professional Services teams as well as 3rd party vendors.

This is a full-time work-from-home position to be based in either Ontario or Quebec. The compensation will match your level of education and experience.

What you will be doing

• Hold ownership and accountability for projects, including decisions, actions, and directives, while maintaining a focus on exceptional client care
• Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure transparent communication
• Actively participate in all required team activities including daily standups and planning sessions
• Develop project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders provide input and are in agreement
• Define and monitor project dependencies, milestones, timelines, and budgets to ensure adherence to project requirements.
• Continuously improve the Cloud/SaaS/Services processes and execution
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with technical stakeholders, outside businesses, and related vendors
• Effectively manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders, and use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost

What you bring to the table

• Strong business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners
• A passion for Cloud technology and infrastructure. We use Google Cloud Platform, but AWS or Azure experience is also appreciated.
• Proven track record of delivering a wide variety of projects
• Project management and process improvement experience
• Strong people management & leadership skills
• Retail business knowledge is a big plus
• Ability to thrive when planning projects and working with teams while getting the best out of people you work with
• PMP certification is a plus
• Must be able to bridge the gap between technical requirements and customer expectations. As a result, it requires a high-level understanding of networking, database technologies, and cloud infrastructure, along with project management skills.
• Strong customer orientation and ability to manage customer expectations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is a plus

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for bringing the Mi9 Retail experience to our retailers.
