Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Project Manager with direct Health Care industry experience to work within our Government client. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization and lead the Project Management team delivering their mandates of the projects.


What you will do

  • Direct and oversee completion of project
  • Lead the team consisting of Project coordinators, scheduler etc, who are responsible for all aspects of defining and delivering assigned projects, and Project Coordinators, responsible for supporting Health Care Project.
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans
  • Ensure Managers, Project Owners, and Project Coordinators are following common project management methodology across current and future projects
  • Define and oversee priorities as guided by the Executives
  • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
  • Analyze project and team performance to better understand where improvements can be made
  • Guide the team to identify and determine dependencies between projects
  • Provide oversight and auditing to managers of adherence to their processes
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including project management, and customer support teams
  • Under the Executive leads direction and in coordination with Project Owners, facilitate the Budget
  • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
  • Provide methods, tools, and tracking to support Project Owners see competing demands on key resources across projects
  • Prepare for and participate in Status Reviews internally and with external partners


What you bring

  • Demonstrated ability to manage small-to-large-scale projects, in parallel
  • The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities within the team
  • 3-5+ years of experience in an Healthcare industry in an IT focused project management role
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Must government security clearance - Enhanced/Reliability Level
  • Team management and leadership experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, communication skills


The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
