The role will require strengths in relationship development, client solutions, and contract management. You will also provide project delivery services, managing a variety of projects and guiding project teams.

Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
- Problem solve unexpected challenges and delays in projects
- Follow project delivery processes to ensure the work is carried out in the most cost-effective manner, meeting client standards and quality requirements
- Report progress and present status updates to senior management
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and participate in site assessments
- Develop plans and monitor project progress using charters and project management plans, risk assessments, schedules, budgets, procurement plans, quality plans, and communication plans
- Plan and manage projects through all phases; planning, design, procurement, execution and closeout
- Direct your multi-disciplinary team including engineering, procurement, stakeholder engagement, environmental, indigenous relations, properties, as well as your internal project delivery team
Account Management:
- Mentor our internal team through professional development conversations
- Provide input into Maven’s project delivery strategy and set-up processes as we continue to grow
- Assemble the project team; ensure resources with appropriate skill sets are assigned work and are supported in their tasks up until project completion
- Secure projects with clients through client meetings, requests for proposals, and quotations
- Lead contract management including negotiating new and existing contracts
Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required, valid BC Driver’s License
- Able to manage a high volume of work with multiple priorities and deadlines
- 10+ years delivering infrastructure projects in the utility and municipal environment
- Outstanding organization and leadership abilities; aptitude in problem solving
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in good standing at a Canadian jurisdiction considered an asset
- Excellent use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management tools (MS Project)
- Proven ability to scope and negotiate projects ranging in value from $100K to $50M
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- Excellent and professional presentation, communication, stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline of Engineering
