Project Manager (4014) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time Project Manager to help our client with the implementation of a communication system and upgrade of the wi-fi service. The PM will be responsible for managing multiple key stakeholder groups, budget management, project plan, risk and issue management, and all other aspects of project management.

Responsibilities:

• Project resources are in place
• Wi-Fi coverage to include defined areas
• Project Charter, training schedule and Communications Strategy documents
• The switch capacity if needed
• New address book entries in groups and new Wireless Access Points and MAC addresses and locations
• And deploy the Vocera badges
• Of Vocera Communications software
• Engage with Tech Service and Wireless PM’s and complete required documentation to secure resources and understand any issues and timelines
• Call Flows, Address Lists and groups to support client requirements
• Scope and timelines
• Engage with key stakeholders and Program Manager to understand concerns, expectations and key dependencies
• Ensure ordering of hardware and Badges to meet timelines
• Organization methodology and produce project management deliverables, such as project status reporting, budget management, telecommunications vendor management, and testing strategy
• Secure Steering Committee meeting dates
• To draft project timelines and understand key dates
• Issue PO and secure signatures to lock in Vendor resources on SOW once validated

Requirements:

• Ability to partner and liaise with the Technical Services Project Manager to deliver a Vocera grade supported wireless infrastructure
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple business stakeholder teams in conjunction with the IMITS TCM team and Technical Services
• Ability to work closely with IMIT operational leaders to ensure seamless operational support transition
• Experience project managing a telecommunications project is an asset
• Experience with the IMITS Implementation Methodology and project management deliverables, such as conducting executive level steering committee meetings, project status reporting, budget management, telecommunications vendor management, manage a testing strategy, resource planning and manage a training and change management strategy
• Ability to manage and lead vendor teams against contract deliverables
• Ability to work closely with clinical stakeholders and users
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience dealing with project risks and issue management
