Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as the Senior Manager, Project Operations and Client Relations. In this multifaceted position, you will be at the helm of our project and client management efforts across the agency; providing key account management to our strategic clients while also leading and optimizing our internal processes to ensure seamless project execution.

You might be an experienced Senior Project Manager who’s looking to grow in leadership and mentoring of a small team. You are laser focused on details, solving problems and driving progress. You are self motivated, resourceful, and can adapt quickly to changing situations. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance operational prowess with client-centricity, fostering growth and maintaining high standards of service.


Responsibilities

Project Operations and Client Relations Leadership

  • Support the development and adoption of project management methodologies across the organization
  • Manage an internal integrated communications team ensuring all client work is flawlessly executed and delivered
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, aligning project objectives with the overall strategy, and ensuring clarity on requirements, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Monitor and assure continual adherence to basic practices, procedures and reporting for consistency across client accounts
  • Act as a resource to team members in assessing ideas and directions
  • Estimate project costs, track expenses, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered within allocated financial resources.
  • Maintain proactive communication with MD on project status
  • Key senior point of contact for client and internal project teams with a proven track record of building trusting, professional relationships
  • Communicate effectively and professionally
  • Monitor jobs and alert team to possible delays/issues, assure open communication among team members
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients, including preparing of cost estimates, schedules and maintaining client information
  • Day to day team management to ensure that your team members develop their skills and set and monitor their progress against clearly defined goals
  • Ensure that all materials produced are accurate by assuring that the quality control steps are not skipped
  • Help develop ideas to make project management and the agency run more efficiently
  • Hold clients and internal marketing team accountable for executing that plan on set due dates

General Operations Management

  • Foster a positive team atmosphere and establish credibility
  • Ensure the smooth functioning and efficiency of the studio's day-to-day operations, optimizing workflows, streamlining processes, and managing resources effectively.
  • Partner with other departments to continuously improve business operations and provide world class service to our clients

Qualifications

  • Clear understanding of the creative process for strategy, copy and design
  • Track record of successfully delivering projects from start to finish on time and within budget
  • Minimum of 7+ years project management creative agency experience with 2 years supervisory experience
  • PMP Certification (ideal)
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented and ambitious with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Natural leader who is great at getting the best out of others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience optimizing operational and business improvement processes
  • Client-facing experience, especially with Exec-level stakeholders
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude in the face of changing deliverables
