Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time Project Manager to help our client with the implementation of Imprivata across multiple sites.


Responsibilities:


  • Control, track and report on:
  • Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Sponsor and Stakeholders
  • Facilitate/coordinate project communications
  • The execution of the project plan and day-to-day aspects of the project
  • Project financials (budgeted, planned and spent)
  • Current and forecast resource usage
  • Liaison with other project managers
  • Transition project deliverables to Operations (Production Turnover/PTO)
  • Escalate significant issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Team
  • Documents all findings and recommendations
  • Adhere to and follow CST Project governance and change management processes
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Coordinate efforts and resources with various vendors
  • Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals as required
  • Submit regular status reports to the PMO, Program Management and Program Steering Committee
  • Maintain and update program status reports and dashboard
  • Identify and manage organizational change requirements for the project working with the clinical informatics lead
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Issues and risks identified for the project
  • Schedule and chair Project Team meetings
  • Manage Project Team performance of project tasks
  • Perform project management processes as per PMO standards
  • Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders to achieve project deliverables
  • Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Team Members and other stakeholders


Requirements:


  • Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex healthcare environment
  • Working knowledge and experience with Agile as well as Waterfall project management concepts practices, and deliverables
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple Agile projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in layman’s terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholders groups
