With a head office in Prince George B.C., and a branch office in Edmonton, we know the Wood Products sector, and have been serving it for over thirty years. Within our two facilities we offer chroming, fabrication, machining, engineering, and automation, in addition to sales and distribution of equipment and parts stocked locally for quick turnaround. We are currently on the hunt for a talented and competitive Inside Sales/Purchasing Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. The position will be based out of our head office location in Prince George, BC.

Responsibilities

• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead and outbound cold calls and emails
• Maintain and expand database of prospects
• Understand and manage customer needs and requirements
• Maintain a knowledge base on current products and equipment offered
• Provide basic product and equipment information
• Provide price quotations, follow up and close orders

Qualifications

• Post-secondary courses or experience in Sales and/or Marketing preferred and considered an asset
• Product and industry knowledge considered an asset
• 1-3 years related experience required
• High School Diploma required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Working Conditions

• Inventory control and management
• Extended periods of desk work
• Answering and directing incoming calls
• Issue purchase orders
• Monday through Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
• Extensive use of computer desktop
