Job Description
The Opportunity


ZE PowerGroup Inc. (ZE), an award-wining technology company is looking for a high-energy and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join and help build and mature ZE’s new Inside Sales group. Reporting to the Executive Leadership, Business Solutions and working closely with the technical presales team, the SDR role will perform outreach to new potential customers and partners. This role will also respond to inbound leads via phone, events, email and social to generate interest in our solutions with prospective customers.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective supporting sales collateral including white papers, webinars, ebooks, website material, etc.
  • Attend and participate in regular sales meetings
  • Ensure CRM records are accurate and maintained - including notes, activities, interactions, contacts, customer / prospect company details, etc.
  • Work with prospects to understand their pain points, business challenges and concisely articulate how our software and services can help
  • Provide a consistent flow of qualified leads to the Inside Sales team
  • Perform research on target organizations, primarily in Energy and Commodities
  • Conduct high-level conversations with executives, decision makers & influencers in prospective accounts as part of discoveries and other engagements
  • Support the creation of a new Inside Sales organization at ZE PowerGroup Inc. - excellent opportunity to grow with the new team and function
  • Develop detailed summaries of qualified leads in the CRM as part of the opportunity hand-over
  • Find new business opportunities using outbound prospecting techniques and tools (Zoom Info, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Effectively map out organizations and make cold calls / emails / to decision makers
  • Meet specific KPIs as related to the activity levels - including phone calls, emails, etc.


Required Skills And Experience


  • Competitive and results oriented
  • Ability to articulate ZEMA’s value proposition
  • Experience selling or supporting the sale of enterprise software platforms is preferred
  • Sales and cold-calling experience
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience using research and other sales tools to develop target lists
