Currently, we are looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our team. This position would be based out of our Burnaby Head Office.

THE ROLE
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing superior service to customers over the phone and in person. Responsibilities include assessing customers’ needs promptly and efficiently, making product recommendations, providing accurate information regarding product details, placing sales orders, and ensuring that delivery times and information are recorded accurately to ensure that we exceed the customers’ expectations. Establishing and nurturing relationships with existing clients and understanding their business requirements and objectives is a crucial element of this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to inquiries in person, over the phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
- Adheres to company safety policies and regulations.
- Complete the order process which includes offering pricing, sourcing of additional products, and generating sales orders.
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and objectives as set by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
- Must be computer literate and knowledge of any ERP system would be an asset.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.
- Battery and solar experience would be an asset.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a wholesale distribution environment.
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
