Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client support the Healing Modalities Recovery from Trauma project and other wellness related projects, from project development to project evaluation.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and evaluate project progress and achievements
  • Ensure timelines are met
  • Provide support to the client in the planning and implementation of the Healing Modalities/Centre Initiative
  • Foster effective communication with project leads and team leads
  • Preparation and submission of Progress Reports on agreed interval
  • Support for planning and implementation of community training
  • Review budgets, support in financial planning
  • Support and work closely with regional leads (particularly Mental Health & Wellness Manager)
  • Support development of a project risk management plan
  • Draft reports, seek feedback, revise and submit as required
  • Provide support to regional primary care work strategy and planning
  • Provide strategic project planning alongside regional leads
  • Support in identifying and documenting project goals, needs, and scope
  • Transform and redesign structure and operations
  • Support development and implementation of work plans
  • Briefing materials
  • Produce project deliverables for the different phases, including Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution and Control, Implementation, and Project Closing.
  • Coordinate meetings, draft minutes, and conduct meeting follow-up
  • Communication materials
  • Suggest areas for improvement, activities, or development of project materials
  • Support development of ongoing project strategies
  • Presentation materials
  • Support establishment of nurse prescribing OAT clinical sites
  • Draft and prepare:


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in creating project documents, such as project charter and project management plan, including preparation of briefing documents for the senior executives
  • Experience in health sector
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Experience working in a culturally diverse enterprise environment, and navigating political climate with ease
  • Agile Certification preferred:
  • Proven experience in strategic planning
  • ITIL Foundation Version 4.0 (or 3.0) certification considered an asset
  • Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Agile Certified Professional (ACP);
  • Advanced experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and SharePoint 2016)
  • PMP or Prince2 certification is required
  • Experience working with PPM tools such as MS Project, OnePlan, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Planner, and monday.com
  • Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM); or
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Proven experience in managing Agile projects, Hybrid projects, and Waterfall projects through full project lifecycle
