About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Recruiter who also can hunt for new business to join our fast growing recruitment /staffingagency, specializing in the mining industry.
As a Business Development Recruiter you will work closely with the founders of the recruitment agency to win new business opportunities and place successful candidates in their roles.
What You’ll Do Here:
Business Development + Recruitment
- Find New Business: You will be responsible for proactively identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities (new accounts, or grow existing accounts to achieve a Master Staffing Agreement), understanding client requirements, and place talent in a timely manner (from our existing database or hunt for new contacts).
- Develop And Expand Client Relationships: Building strong relationships with our clients is crucial to our success. You will have the opportunity to foster long-term partnerships by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their expectations are consistently met. By understanding their hiring needs, you will be expected to grow the account to be the go to recruitment partner.
- Manage The Recruitment Process: As a key player in our recruitment efforts, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process. This includes sourcing and identifying qualified candidates, utilizing a variety of channels such as networking, social media, and direct recruiting. Your expertise in conducting thorough interviews and due diligence will ensure that only the most suitable candidates are presented to our clients.
- Drive Business Expansion: You will actively pursue new inbound and outbound leads and opportunities, aiming to expand your book of business. By maintaining a robust sales pipeline for both active and inactive opportunities, you will play a pivotal role in driving new and existing business growth. Your ability to present compelling hiring proposals will be instrumental in securing new clients and partnerships.
- Recruitment Process Optimization: In addition to managing the recruitment process, you will work closely with our HRIS + Sales database (HubSpot). This will be the go to source of truth for inbound, outbound and hiring status.
- Ensure Quality And Efficiency: You will be responsible for conducting pre-employment screenings, reference checks, and negotiating market-competitive pay rates.
What You Bring To The Table
- Effective communication and relationship management skills.
- 3-5 years of B2B recruitment, sales, account management, business development experience
- Ability to adapt, drive change management and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), cloud solutions
- You have a University Degree or College Diploma from an accredited post secondary institution
- Proven resilience, determination, and coachability
- Focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stellar communication
- Knowledge of HRIS / ATS systems- Hubspot an asset
- Competitive history (sports background, proven top salesperson track record, reward driven)
- Must have recruitment experience both hunting for new clients and placing candidates
- High energy, positive attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self motivated and organized and able to work to deadlines
- An ambitious, outgoing personality and a will to win
