Business Development Manager - Women's Health Group Canada
Benefits/Compensation
Salary range is $70k-$80k, with uncapped commissions and an OTE plan of 130K-150K. In addition, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
In This Role, You Will
  • Prospecting, interfacing with prospects and closing sales transactions
  • Research and analyze competitive products
  • Planning and implementing strategies for increasing sales
  • Regularly travel
  • Attend open house events, launch events, symposiums and trade-shows to market products
  • Heavy focus on territory development by prospecting and creating new leads
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Determine physician wants and needs while working closely with product development and marketing teams to develop and roll out new products
  • Perform market research, investigation and due diligence
  • Support the service, clinical and support teams post-sale
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop customer loyalty
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Must be a good active listener with the ability to ask key questions
  • Must be able to develop business strategies with customers to ensure their success
  • Capable of working independently as a self-motivated sales professional
  • Highly proficient in the entire sales process of lead development, nurturing and closing
Education/Experience
  • Experience selling to women’s health physicians is preferred, but not required
  • Understand Return on Investment selling methodology
  • Must be a self-starter, results driven, highly organized, with the ability to establish relationships quickly
  • Heavy traveling experience is required for this position.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or science
  • Successful, demonstrated experience selling capital equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions in clear, concise, and easy to understand presentations
  • Customer Service driven and interface with all levels of customers.
