Randstad is hiring for a Human Resources Administrator for our client in Waterloo, ON. You will be responsible for benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding and recruitment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Wellness program updates and events
  • Recruiting
  • Writing and updating job descriptions as needed
  • Employee orientation and on-boarding
  • Managing the attendance program
  • Benefit administration (LTD claim submissions, new hires and terminations)
  • Promoting positive employee relations
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Post-graduate education in Human Resources or related work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite, with excellent knowledge of excel
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in Human Resources preferred, however new graduates are welcome to apply
  • CHRP designation or working towards designation
  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is an asset
  • Experience with HRIS software or ADP Workforce Now is an asset
  • Strong understanding of employment law and expertise in HR policies and procedures
