Job Description

Our client in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Manager to join their dynamic team. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's human resources strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and a track record of effective people management. This is a 100% fully on-site position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and innovation within the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive packages that attract and retain top industry talent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Lead and manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage and continuously enhance employee training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and create effective staffing plans.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in employee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • HR certification (e.g., CPHR) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5+ years of HR management experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing industry.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of BC employment laws and regulations.
