Hotel experienced Human Resources Manager – Banff, Alberta, Canada

We seek a Human Resources Manager for a beautiful Ski Resort in the Banff area with about 100 rooms and operating 12 months a year, with food and beverage facilities. The resort also has room service for the hotel and catering functions.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the training and development, recruitment, compensation and benefit management, Human Resources software & systems, employee welfare and morale and the management of benefits.

You must be a mentor with high principles and values, and lead by example.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree or a higher education is required.

At least five years of experience in a senior HR role in the hospitality industry in Canada.

Knowledgeable in local and international practices and policies for benefits and compensation.

Ability to develop professional relationships with local government authorities.

Strong HR systems and process business acumen.

Exceptional and professional communication & presentation skills, both oral and written.

Recognized experience in hiring, training and empowering employees.

Participative team player, excellent leadership qualities.

Salary will be CAD85,000 plus company benefits.
