Director, Human Resources Jobs

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Director, Human Resources is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and direction for all aspects of HR operations including employee relations, benefits and compensation, learning and development, and recruitment. This includes both the development and implementation of strategic HR programs and policies, as well as day-to-day operational management.The director is a key contributor to the achievement of the talent strategy and the employee experience model, ensuring the HR department drives the attraction, engagement, and retention of the right talent for success. The position will be filled in a term capacity for up to 18 months.

As the ideal candidate you have proven experience as a progressive leader in human resources. You are a strong people leader with proven ability to motivate both direct and indirect teams to perform their best. The ideal person has the ability to work within an environment that is innovative, and be able to utilize a common sense approach with sound judgement to provide clear direction. You have a strong understanding of the human resource landscape, requirements, and business impacts. You hold a post-secondary degree in human resources or a relevant discipline along with five to seven years of related experience (or a combination) and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. A high level of integrity, superior communication and interpersonal skills round out your experience.
