Hybrid Work Model
SLC Management operates in a hybrid environment with a mix of in-office and virtual work where our employees are empowered to do their best. Generally, employees are expected to work three days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.

What Is In It For You
The Human Resources Specialist performs a broad Human Resources role supporting execution of SLC’s strategic HR plan. Reporting to the Managing Director, Human Resources, you will play a key role in the HR Business Partner team contributing to SLC’s growth and having a direct impact on our business’s success. You are equally comfortable connecting with employees and leaders as with recommending solutions, planning projects, navigating data and communicating a compelling story. We are looking for a collaborative team player, who is flexible and keen to jump in where needed.
The official title is Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner.
What You Will Do
  • Partners with HRBPs (and COEs) to manage day-to-day HR activities to ensure a seamless and positive employee experience within SLC. This may include partnering with:

  • Develops, communicates, and implements appropriate solutions (programs, processes, tools) for HR Business Partner-led activities and initiatives collaborating with members of the SLC HR team. Continuously looks for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide design and delivery support for events such as team leadership and employee meetings and conferences.
  • General working knowledge of human resources with depth in any specific domain of human resources is an asset; 6 - 10 years experience in HR preferably within Financial Services

  • Provides change management and project management support for HRBP-led initiatives, i.e., organization restructures, business transformation, operational change. Depending on the size of the initiative and the experience of the incumbent, this work could be in support of a HR Business Partner or could require more independent action.
  • Results oriented with proven track record of delivering to deadlines, able to multitask and prioritize a wide range of tasks with an understanding of the big picture and inter-dependencies.
