Senior Human Resources Manager

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Aurora who needs to hire a Senior Human Resources Manager. To be considered, you would need previous experience working with a small to mid size manufacturing company. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Familiar with payroll processing and working with time management systems
• Experience working for a manufacturing company
• Post-secondary education in Business or Human Resources
• Have a CHRP/CHRL designation or willingness to complete it
• Strong Health & Safety background
• At least 7 years of HR experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that workers have a safe working environment
• Effectively communicates HR policies and procedures.
• Works with management and supervisor as it pertains to employee development as well as addressing employee issues
• Updates the employee handbook as well as the health and safety manual as required
• Organizes social events throughout the year
• Oversees the WSIB Claims management process and manages claims
• Works with payroll to ensure that employees are paid on time and pay is accurate
