The Senior Manager, Global Facilities Services is responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of facilities services to ensure global standardization in service delivery and user support. In this role, you will manage day to day service delivery as well as planning for the implementation and improvement of new facilities and services. The position will oversee all global coordinators, the Front Desk team, and associated services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the on-site work experience of remote and hybrid workers including workstation and meeting room management, and facility access controls. Manage and negotiate services between internal stakeholders and external contractors/service providers through collaboration with the Corporate Procurement team
• Working in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team, accountable to maintain content on the SCOOP Facilities pages
• Accountable for the oversight, management, maintenance, and process driven continual improvement of the facilities services delivery model by managing priorities based on multiple cross functional timelines, key portfolio/client needs, and resource loads and capacity
• Standardize and Manage the Facilities Services at all Global STEMCELL Facilities including Front Desk Services
• Contributes to the development of goals for the department and critical input to planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.) to align with long-term corporate vision including establishing and leading the achievement of annual goals with a 1-2 year strategic time horizon for the team

Knowledge And Qualifications

• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
• Experience working with global teams in a matrix environment
• Experience leading, coaching, developing and evaluating a team
• Experience overseeing teams in Facilities Operation / Coordination and Reception is an asset
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience in managing facilities services across multiple locations including vendor and stakeholder management
