The Senior Manager, Global Adoption Program is responsible for leading a high-performing team. Working across all D2L customer segments and geographies, this role will continue our culture of customer first and work cross functionally to ensure the client is at the centre of all that we do. This leader is a strategic thinker and change champion, focused on enabling customers and team members to support best in class adoption of SaaS based platforms and encouraging uptake of new product features and functionalities. The leader understands the importance of process and how to motivate, encourage sustained usage at a deeper level with a goal of driving habitual usage at a power level. Standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks and customer campaigns and building of assets will be a large part of repeatable and scalable processes, driving efficiencies metrics, and reporting to support the adoption efforts of our customers globally.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop and track adoption metrics for Global Success Program in partnership with product management
  • Align Global Success strategy to growth initiatives, revenue goals that drive adoption, loyalty and retention of Brightspace
  • Working across all segments and geographies that we serve, this management role will oversee and coach a team of adoption specialists
  • Foster a culture of customer empathy, partnership, and continuous value creation
  • Responsible for Global Success and Adoption program in all markets that D2L serves including K-12, higher education, corporate and government globally
  • Partnering with CSM leadership to define and drive the overall strategy, planning and program management and reporting metrics

  • Collaborate through cross-functional teams to accomplish established corporate and team goals and effectively manage relationships with other D2L teams
  • Connect your team's day-to-day accountabilities to D2L's mission by setting clear objectives and performance expectations with your team members.
  • Coach, provide regular feedback, provide career path and development or growth opportunities, and create a collaborative and open environment.
  • Coaching, leading, and developing team members by setting the strategy and prioritizing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs); hiring, training, and champion a high-performing culture.
  • Responsible for supporting vision, planning, and defining team objectives, and leading execution of objectives
  • Support coaching and professional development specific opportunities to maintain the domain expertise needed support our diverse customers
  • Work with your peers and leaders to drive productivity, efficiency, and hold the team accountable for high-quality outcomes


What you'll bring to the role:


  • Experience within a growth-oriented SaaS companies is ideal
  • Thorough understanding of business management, forecasting strategy and techniques
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
  • Model high energy level, demonstrated drive to succeed, with a sense of urgency
  • Previous experience and focus on building scalable product adoption strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organization – with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization
  • 5+ years' experience in a Customer Success, Strategy or Program Management role (or equivalent) role; with experience leading teams and managing client portfolios of varying sizes
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with all levels of personnel up to and including C-Suite executives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
