Position - Learning and Development Portfolio Manager
Professional Responsibilities:
Learning and Development Program Monitoring and Management:
- Coordinate with different team leads to track project status, project health, and establishing clear communication channels.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards in excel, tableau, power BI or any reporting format that provides a single source of truth to team utilization levels, date of deliverables, and identify risks early on.
- Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet to track project milestones, tasks, and dependencies.
- Have a detailed oversight of multiple L&C programs, ensure timelines and scope is 100% aligned to, and objectives, deliverables, and timelines not missed by any program or project team.
- Collaborate with Business Owner to define program requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learning objectives.
Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with project managers and program managers to ensure alignment of program deliverables with learning objectives.
- Upon guidance from the Business Owner, facilitate effective ops review among team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Engage with Business Owner to understand his needs and expectations, providing regular updates on program progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
Risk Management and Audit Capabilities:
- Identify and assess portfolio and program risks, creating risk management plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Leverage audit capabilities to track and evaluate program performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Implement appropriate controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Program Evaluation and Improvement:
- Conduct portfolio and program evaluations, gathering feedback from stakeholders and participants to identify areas of improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous programs.
- Analyze program data and metrics, highlighting key insights and making recommendations for program enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- PMP, PgMP, or Portfolio Management certifications.
- Familiarity with audit capabilities and risk management in program management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex program challenges.
- 10+ years of experience in development of diverse learning solutions such as ILTs, e-learning, belnded learning. The ideal profiles is of someone who has strong experience in instructional design, learning architecture, and has then moved to program management of L&D projects.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High sense of accountability and ownership towards the responsibilities and deliverables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Smartsheet.
- Deep and proven expertise in project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience in the learning and development domain is mandatory
- Proven experience (10 years+) as a Program Manager in the Learning and Development domain.
