Department Overview
The Global Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing and product marketing programs across the globe to drive product awareness, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees all global product marketing strategy for the fixed video and access control portfolio, develops messaging and go to market strategy for the VS&A business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads and build brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users and consultants. The Global VS&A Marketing team oversees all aspects of elevating and driving growth for our video brands as a part of the broader Motorola Solutions ecosystem.

Motorola Solutions is looking for an experienced channel marketing leader to bring a market-driven, customer-focused approach to execute our global marketing strategy targeting Avigilon and Pelco partners. This individual will lead a team of marketing professionals; the team is responsible for all channel marketing activities including co-marketing campaigns, communications, incentives and promotions, development of marketing material and support for partners to help grow business.
The Senior Channel Marketing Manager is a high visibility role that works closely with global sales leadership to create a strategy that drives demand and helps our partners sell more effectively. You will work collaboratively with product marketing, performance marketing, channel and sales operations, events and customer experience teams. This leader will have strong business fluency and the ability to connect the dots and take action to grow the business and engage partners and internal sellers.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the team to develop and execute channel marketing activities that align with business priorities and growth. Manage, motivate and inspire with clear direction, strategy and objective goals.
  • Communication strategy to announce new incentive programs, promotions, campaigns and a range of corporate updates.
  • Oversee development of messaging into actionable sales pitches, email templates, social media kits, conversation guides and other tools. Enable sellers and partners to have consistent, effective and engaging sales conversations with prospects and customers.
  • Act as a cross-functional marketing leader and collaborate with sales, performance marketing, product marketing, events, sales/channel operations and digital experience teams on a wide-range of campaigns and initiatives that impact sellers and partners.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic partners and collaborate on co-marketing activities that drive brand awareness and demand.
  • Provide feedback and share best practices on marketing and sales enablement materials.
  • Design and implement measurements to track ROI from channel marketing activities.
Who You Are:
  • Experience in B2B is a plus
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • 6-8 years of experience in a related marketing role
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Bachelors of Business Administration or related degree
  • Valid Passport, occasional travel is required (about 10-20%)
  • Knowledge and experience marketing security solutions or other enterprise technology is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • 4+ years of people management
  • A self-motivated, critical thinker with strong business acumen who can define, drive and deliver on objectives and is motivated to succeed
  • Effective problem-solver who is able to drive multiple projects at once
Basic Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 6+ years of experience
