We’re pleased to partner with Essence Properties in their search for a Marketing Manager. This individual will lead the marketing and sales efforts, including developing and executing project marketing, sales strategies and tactical plans. The right person for the role is a passionate self-starter with a strong work ethic and leadership acumen.

About The Workplace

This is a flexible hybrid role that requires working an average of 3 days a week from the Surrey, BC office.

About The Role

• Maintain deep knowledge of real estate marketing and the construction industry
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and tactical plans
• Execute regular SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and other digital campaigns for company and project-related websites
• Conduct project market analysis and reviews with appropriate stakeholders
• Set up and manage the CRM platform and other systems
• Lead and participate in regular marketing and sales meetings
• Participate in quarterly town halls, strategic meetings, tactical meetings, etc.
• Run regular marketing and sales reports (daily, weekly and monthly)
• Analyze, interpret, and present campaign results on an ongoing basis
• Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions and improvements
• Prepare, modify and deliver job descriptions and performance evaluations to direct reports
• Build relationships with key contacts to maintain Essence’s competitive advantage
• Work closely with various stakeholders to establish and advance project elements (e.g., budgets, design and layout of units, presentation centres and showhomes, mortgage interest rate caps, contracts, strata plans and budgets, etc.)
• Manage campaigns according to plans (budget, schedules, goals) and document any changes

About You

• Deep understanding of data-driven marketing and sales approaches and the overall digital landscape
• Experience in successfully launching 2-3 new real estate development projects
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Post-secondary education in business, marketing and sales, or real estate (BCIT Marketing Management graduates preferred)
• 2+ years of previous project marketing experience in a real estate environment
• Knowledge of Lasso or other CRM systems, Realtor Link (MLS)
• Strong project management, team leadership, negotiation, customer service, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
• Knowledgeable in real estate contract law
