Responsibilities:

• Approve expenditures to run and maintain the warehouse, fleet, and tool inventory.
• Ensure all supervisors meet their metrics.
• Keep a training log and facilitate ongoing training for the technicians.
• Ensure that all materials and manpower are lined up before the start date.
• Uphold BCH health and safety standards and policies.
• Maintain correct staffing levels for the operations, installations, sanding, and millwork departments.
• Will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of information from sales to the technicians and resolving any issues proactively to prevent them from becoming problems. They will establish routine double-checks to ensure all jobs have sufficient supplies and manpower scheduled for their start dates.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a substrate or service business.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in using the MS Office Suite, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word at an advanced level.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management/supervision.
• Post Secondary Diploma or University degree is an asset.
• Experience in a unionized environment (good to have).

• Take the lead in mentoring and facilitating the training of our future technicians.
• Continuously strive to eliminate workplace accidents.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Address customer concerns promptly and proactively seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Set and monitor Operations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Uphold the commitment to top-quality craftsmanship.
• Create and foster a team-oriented environment and culture.
