Job Description
Role Summary:


The Marketing Specialist, Experience will bring experience and passion to design, build, and execute bold, unique, and memorable experiences for our customers across all our retail properties. This role will aim to ensure that our customers have a positive perception of CF and optimal visit at our experiences and will maximize the value to deliver against program goals and KPIs.


The Marketing Specialist, Experience will have the opportunity to support and execute CF’s high priority and most impactful Experience programs including Holiday, Home of Team Canada, and Creative Entertainment.


The Marketing Specialist, Experience will bring experience and passion for marketing to design, build, and execute campaigns across the Experience, Digital, Marketing Communications (MarCom) and Brand teams for our customers across all our CF properties and the broader community. This role will help to connect customers to CF including key Retail, Office and Brand Strategy programs including Holiday, Home of Team Canada, and internal initiatives for CF employees. It will also support Client Marketing initiatives and to influence clients to come to our CF properties across Canada.


The Marketing Specialist, Experience will be a fundamental role within the Marketing team to help deliver a positive perception of CF through our communications and provide foundational support in planning, building, and executing CF’s high priority and impactful marketing programs.


What You Will Deliver:


  • On-site monitoring and support of the Marketing Experience will be required at launch and periodically throughout the campaign to ensure success against KPI’s and positive customer experience.
  • Participate in the experience ideation and design led by the Senior Manager - Experience and help to execute experiences with excellence. Execution responsibilities may include, but not limited to, contributing to the brief or Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for agencies, collaborating with external agency and CF property team on the physical experience build, planning and communicating experience schedules to key stakeholders, building playbooks for staffing or customer service training, or monitoring the execution against experience KPIs.
  • Actively tracks industry trends, best practices, and innovation to eagerly test and learn new opportunities. Brings a high level of passion for Customer Experience and Event Management.
  • Work closely with the Project Delivery team to manage assigned projects and tasks to deliver on time and completed accurately.
  • Is constantly curious to look for opportunities to improve, solve problems and ultimately optimize the experience design for the CF customer.
  • Accurate and detailed budget and invoice management as well as reconciliation tracking for responsible programs to ensure they are delivered on budget.
  • Work closely with Marketing Intelligence to help integrate key learnings and insights into Experience programs, support setting of KPIs for experiences and any survey or research work required to track, analyze, and report performance of programs against key KPIs.
  • Strong collaboration and communication with key CF stakeholders in Marketing (Regional Marketing, Digital, MarCom, Design + Brand), Corporate Communications, Property Operations, Data & Technology (D&T), Health and Safety and Security. Also has a high level of relationship management with external agencies and vendors.
  • Employ understanding of CF Brand Guidelines to ensure that all marketing programs align with those requirements and deliver a positive perception of CF.
  • Design and execute marketing with excellence.
  • Required accurate budget and invoice management as well as reconciliation tracking for responsible Experience programs to ensure they are delivered on budget.

  • Strong team building skills at a specialist level and act as a strong role model against CF Values amongst the team.


What You Need to Succeed:


  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience
  • Post-secondary education preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or Event Marketing.


Nice To Haves:


  • Knowledge in Google Suite.
  • Knowledge in project management tool Asana.
  • Knowledge in budget and invoice management tools.
