Responsibilities:
- Review and perform industry benchmarking or trend analysis, as appropriate
- Support and maintain valuation models for properties under development
- Other valuation or administrative duties, as appropriate
- Assist in preparation of quarterly IFRS Valuation presentations to senior leadership team
- Support the team in conducting market and industry analysis to evaluate market and economic trends impacting valuation
- Assist with analysis of Net Operating Income on a property-level
- Assist in quarterly financial reporting process as it relates to valuation. Compile supporting documents for auditors, as requested.
- Maintaining Argus models, inputting and modeling - rent rolls, operating expenses, capital expense budgets and amortization, recoveries, etc.
- Maintain and update property valuations, in accordance with IFRS.
- Review Argus models for accuracy and completeness
- Obtain key property information to support valuation assumptions
Qualifications:
- Analytical characteristics and detail oriented
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated project and/or people management skills
- Have experience working with Argus Enterprise software
- University degree in Business, Commerce or Economics - specialty in Real Estate preferred
- At least 2 years' experience in the commercial real estate industry
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in hybrid work environment
- Knowledge of real estate valuation methodology
