We’re looking for our next Treasury Associate. Could It Be You?

The purpose of the Treasury Associate is to assist the Treasury group with a variety of detail-oriented, deadline-driven cash management tasks.

What’s it like working as an Treasury Associate at Questrade?

The Treasury Associate will process deposits and conduct general administrative functions in support of Treasury, Brokerage Operations and Finance. You will act as a subject matter expert for all deposit sources to the firm (SWIFT, online bill payment, draft, etc.). The ideal candidate must work well under pressure and complete assignments with a high degree of accuracy and at a superior quality level.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Other bookkeeping duties
• Liaise on a regular basis with bank contacts.
• Perform bank reconciliation – reconciliation of the bank statement against the GL and reconciliation of any assigned clearing accounts.
• Provide back up support to the banking team as required.
• Respond the client cases and work with internal department to find a resolution.
• Process incoming/outgoing client payment (bill payments, wires, etc.).
• Assist with special projects
• Complete journal entries for daily funds movements.
• Set up cash transfers and wires as required

• Must be able to adhere to set deadlines
• Have the ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
• Have 2-5 years related work experience
• Are detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
• Are able to work in a team
• Have excellent written and verbal skills
• Have a post-secondary degree/diploma in related field
• Are diligent & proactive
• Have extremely strong Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets abilities
• Are independent worker and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems

Additional Kudos If You…

• Have experiences in financial/investment industry
• Have completion of CSC and CPH
• Have knowledge of IFRS
