Job Description

Hill+Knowlton Strategies is looking for a Creative Studio Manager to join our fast-moving team.

You’re flexible, highly motivated and able to work with diverse teams to manage workflows and deliverables. As you’ll be managing campaigns and content across multiple formats in traditional, social & digital platforms, you have a meticulous eye for detail. You can work alone, with small teams, or with additional freelancers to deliver against tight deadlines. Sound good so far?

You’ll also be managing client budgets and setting up workflows in Monday.com, while helping decide which project goes to whom. Leadership skills are a must and the ability to motivate and support morale is plus while keeping everyone updated on project status and delivery. As this role will often be the first point of contact for internal stakeholders, you’re a strong communicator with diplomacy it takes to manage a wide range of asks and deadlines. Other duties include quality control, backup and archiving, tracking and reporting Studio revenue on an ongoing basis, and working closely with finance to manage invoicing and payment. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and come from a digital or creative agency. While English is essential, French is an asset, as many of our clients work across both languages.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • A realistic understanding of how long things take
  • Have had strong experience in project and people management
  • An ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects, happiest when working under pressure
  • Have good time management and be structured and well-organized
  • A knack for diplomacy and clear communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Confidence in client-facing situations
  • A natural ability to motivate others
  • Be a logical and clear thinker
  • The ability to manage remote team members across our offices in Canada
  • An understanding of traditional, digital, and social advertising

Background

  • 5+ years previous experience in a fast-paced digital/creative agency preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Monday.com, Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

What else is in it for you?

  • Full health benefits package—including healthy paid time off, schedule flexibility, fitness reimbursement, and more
  • Strong leadership with a focus on entrepreneurial thinking, training and mentoring to help you grow, expand your skills and become your professional best
  • A passionate, smart, fun, and creative office culture
  • Employee referral bonus
  • A career working with and influencing bold, creative teams and client accounts
