Human Resources Data Analyst
As the Human Resources Data Analyst you will be accountable for executing day-to-day HR data and program administration, i.e. processing HR data transactions, maintaining the highest level of data integrity, timeliness and confidentiality. Providing various reporting, analytical and administrative support related to HR programs to improve processes and services.
What you will be doing:
- Accountable for supporting on a variety of HR Data and HR program responsibilities (e.g. day to day employee data processing, HR program administration, etc.).
- Act as a backup support for other individuals on the team for work related to HR Data, employee programs and processes.
- Develop and prepare statistical summaries and special reports from the HR data which may include information such as employee turnover, headcount, performance data, skills, etc;
- Prepare a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports as required.
- Participate in and provide support with various HR programs which could be related to employee recognition, compensation, etc.
- Extract, analyze and report on human resources data to support business decision making
- Undertake quality checks of data; liaison with HR and Payroll to maintain data integrity and processing timelines.
- Perform data analysis, prepare bulk employee letters and communications to support various HR programs like vacation reconciliation, employee reimbursements and allowances, etc;
- Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
- Provide analytical support to the Total Rewards function to improve processes and services.
- Research and compile information related to various policies, programs and processes.
What you will bring:
- Comprehensive understanding of HR programs and HR data management
- Knowledge of other HR programs/principles (e.g., compensations, benefits, HR Programs, etc.)
- Post-secondary education in HR, business or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years related work experience in HR Programs and related data analytics
- Strong knowledge related to the development, compilation and presentation of data and reports
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment (Hybrid role)
- Prolonged sitting, repetitive arm movements (i.e. keyboard data entry), lifting of office supplies (less than 5 kg)
Technical Skills
- Excellent ability to work with large amount of data and present it in a logical and concise manner
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office products (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including balancing multiple responsibilities and effectively meeting deadlines
- Ability to exercise high level of discretion with sensitive and confidential information
- Strong knowledge and experience working with HR systems and HR data
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Perform data analysis for various HR programs
